Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti has reacted to the autopsy staff's claim that the actor was murdered
Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti, who has been fighting for his justice, has urged the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to look into the murder claim made by an autopsy staff member ‘diligently.’ For the unversed, Roopkumar Shah, who retired from service last month from Cooper Hospital, admitted he witnessed the postmortem of Sushant and revealed he was not murdered. He claimed there were marks of beating on his body along with two or three injury marks on the neck.
Now, Shweta Singh Kirti has reacted to his shocking claim. Taking to her Instagram handle, she posted a screenshot of a new article that carried a story about autopsy staff making a shocking revelation that SSR was murdered. Sharing this, she wrote, “there is an ounce of truth to this evidence, we urge CBI to really look into it diligently. We have always believed that you guys will do a fair investigation and let us know the truth. Taking to the comments section, fans also demanded justice for the actor and asked everyone to extend their support.
Meanwhile, Roopkumar Shah, who had worked as a mortuary assistant at Cooper hospital, told the media that he is now speaking about the case because he has retired from the services. He said, “When I saw Rajput’s body, there were marks of fracture and some marks around his neck due to some pressure. The marks of strangulation and hanging are different as I had been performing autopsies for nearly 28 years.” Reacting to his murder claim, Sushant’s lawyer Vikas Singh told Etimes that Sushant’s death was not a simple suicide as there was a conspiracy behind it.
Sushant Singh Rajput, one of the most loved actors of Bollywood, passed away at the age of 34 at his residence in Mumbai. He was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra on June 14, 2020.
