Sidharth Malhotra Relieved To Find Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor Missing!
It’s not easy to bump into an ex whether you are friends or not. Sidharth Malhotra faced a similar predicament a few days back. We are obviously talking about Alia Bhatt who is madly in love with Ranbir Kapoor. It all happened at Karan Johar’s bash
Alia Bhatt and
Sidharth Malhotra’s break-up was not an amicable one. The lovers, who
parted ways last year, have not even come close to discussing a project
together let alone signing one. In fact, they haven’t even been spotted
chatting merrily for long. Under such circumstances, we wouldn’t be surprised
if the two continue to be awkward when they bump into each other, especially
when ‘known friends’ are around.
Karan Johar’s
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai completed 20 years on October 16. To commemorate the
occasion, the filmmaker hosted a grand bash at JW Marriott, which had the
who’s who of the glamour world besides the cast in attendance. As a loyal
protégé, Sidharth Malhotra too turned up to congratulate the team. He, along
with Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter among others had to give a
speech on the special day. The moment the actor came in, he came across Hiroo
Johar at the red carpet and post greeting her, proceeded to tell her that he
will only stay back until his speech is over, post which he has to attend to a
few ‘commitments’.
Once Sidharth reached the main hall where the event was taking place, he asked his team about the guest list and they took a few names. However, from the looks of it, he didn’t get information on a certain couple he was looking for. Guess who they were? Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. He finally went up to Karan Johar and asked him if the two were coming for the party to which the filmmaker said that they were in New York. This changed things for the actor and not only did he stay back for the celebration, he was also seen enjoying the after party to the hilt. Relationships can be messy.
