Abhishek Bachchan calls Simi Garewal 'aunty, Oprah' in a BTS video shared by the actor-host
Veteran actor-host Simi Garewal is super active on social media. On Wednesday, she took fans down a memory lane as she shared a clip from her popular chat show Rendezvous with Simi Garewal. The video features Abhishek Bachchan and his sense of humour will crack you up. On the show, Abhishek was unable to decide on what to call Simi.
Abhishek was asked to say 'something' for a soundcheck and he replied, "Something." As everyone burst out laughing, Simi said, "He said it." It didn't stop there as Abhishek then continued, "Do you need something more substantial than that?" When asked to say a few lines, he said, "Hi. I'm Abhishek and you're watching" and turned around looking for the name of the show.
Simi helped him by saying, "Rendezvous with Simi Garewal" and Abhishek continued, "Rendezvous with Simi aunty." Simi quickly added, "No, you're not going to 'aunty' me." Abhishek then asked her, "What do I call you?" When Simi asked what he would call her, Abhishek replied, "Oprah (Winfrey)." Sharing the clip, Simi wrote in the caption, "My favourite rendezvous moments! @bachchan #RendezvousWithSimiGarewal #BehindTheScenes #CANDID #Bollywood." Farah Khan dropped a comment saying, "He does have a wicked sense of humour." Abhishek shared the clip on his Instagram Stories and wrote, "Thank you Simi aunty.. Sorry, Oprah."
On the work front, Abhishek has interesting projects in the pipeline. The actor began filming for his upcoming film Ghoomer on his birthday. It is being directed and produced by R Balki. He also has Dasvi. It also stars Nimrat Kaur and Yami Gautam. Apart from that, he will also be back with the third season of the Prime Video series Breathe.
