fans, brace yourselves! The first poster of Ranveer’s next, Simmba is
here! Now, in case if you are wondering when did Ranveer sign this
project, let us tell you, this is the title of the Rohit Shetty drama that
Ranveer is a part of. The actor took to social media to share the first look of Simmba and captioned it as: SANGRAM BHALERAO aka #Simmba !!!! (sic)”.
Sporting a
mischievous look, Ranveer is seen in a khakee uniform here. If you remember
actors like Salman Khan (Dabanng), Shahid Kapoor (Phata Poster Nikla Hero) and Akshay Kumar (Rowdy Rathore) have played cops before
and they have added their own charm to the character. With Ranveer Singh
playing a police officer for the first time, we bet he is going to make Simmba one-of-a-kind!
Karan Johar, who
is producing the movie with Rohit also shared the poster. The ace filmmaker
tweeted, "28th December 2018!! ROHIT SHETTY will be back!!!! RANVEER SINGH
as #SIMMBA."
Simmba, which is
the Bollywood version of Telugu film, Temper was initially reported to release on
December 21, 2018. However, the makers decided to push the release date ahead to
December 28, 2018, so that the film doesn’t clash with Shah Rukh Khan and
Aanand L. Rai's untitled movie.
