Singer KK’s Son Nakul Pens An Emotional Note As He Remembers His Late Father: 'I’m Being Choked, Greatest Privilege Was To Witness You Everyday'
Earlier this month, Bollywood singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, left for his heavenly abode on May 31 due to a massive cardiac arrest after a live performance in Kolkata. The singer was performing live at Nazrul Mancha when he suddenly left unwell. KK was declared 'brought dead' by doctors. Now, three weeks after his tragic demise, his son Nakul Krishna has penned an emotional note saying he is ‘feeling like being choked’.

Nakul got emotional while remembering his late father as he shared his unseen photos with KK. The pictures speak volumes about the bond he shared with his late father. Alongside the pics, Nakul penned a lengthy note that read, “Took me a while to come to terms with what happened 3 weeks ago. Even now the pain is physical, like I’m being choked, as though people are standing on my chest. I wanted to say something, share anything about my dad but I finally understood immobility in a state of shock. I finally comprehend true pain, Iv only now realised the privilege you granted me, not the privilege of a comfortable life, I always knew I was blessed in that regard. The greatest privilege I ever had was the opportunity to witness you everyday.” ALSO READ: KK Sudden Death: The Late Singer Could Have Been Saved If CPR Was Given On Time, Reveals A Doctor Who Conducted His Autopsy

“The abyssal void that is left in your wake, not only in our hearts, but the hearts of millions is a testament to your brilliance. A bright brief brilliance that burned too bright too quickly. That impossible line, where the waves conspire, where they return. The place maybe you and I will meet again,” he concluded.

Earlier, on Father’s Day, KK’s daughter Taamara posted a couple of her throwback photos with the singer alongside a heartfelt note.  KK was laid to rest at Versova Hindu Cemetry on 2nd June. His son led the funeral procession, which was attended by KK’s fans and industry colleagues.
