On Wednesday, actor and TV presenter Mandira Bedi's husband, Raj Kaushal passed away due to a heart attack, at the age of 49. He had produced and directed many films. In her grief of losing her husband, many offered their heartfelt condolences but there was also a section of people who mercilessly trolled the actress for her choice of outfit. Others trolled her for performing her husband's last rites.
Photos of the actress carrying out her husband's last rites surfaced on social media. The actress was trolled for wearing a T-shirt and jeans to her husband's funeral. Singer Sona Mohapatra came out in her defence and tweeted, 'That some people are still commenting on Mandira Bedi's dress code or choice to carry out her husband Raj Kundra's last rites shouldn't surprise us. The news of Mandira Bedi's husband Raj Kaushal's demise left many shocked. In a recent interview with ETimes, music director Sulaiman Merchant shared what exactly happened before his sad demise. He said, 'Raj was feeling uneasy in the evening. He took an antacid tablet.' He further narrated how Raj informed Mandira that he was having a heart attack and she instantly called Ashish Chaudhary.

'Raj told Mandira that he was getting a heart attack. Mandira acted swiftly and called Ashish Chaudhary, who rushed to their place. Mandira and Ashish put him in the car but he was losing consciousness. I think they drove off, taking him to the Lilavati hospital if I'm not wrong. But in the next 5-10 minutes they realised that he had no pulse. Before they reached the doctor, it was too late,' he added.
