The Zoya Factor actress Sonam Kapoor has been creating a huge buzz ever since the first look of her most-anticipated upcoming film co-starring Dulquer Salmaan came. Not just that, the actress' name coincides very well with the character of her titular role, Zoya. Talking about the same, the sources say that the actress revealed to the makers of the movie that why was she named Sonam by her father, Anil Kapoor, "The meaning of Sonam is good luck. Anil named her Sonam because she brought luck to his life and his career, post that had picked up big time. So the story resonated with her and her character and thought she was more than perfect to play the role."

Talking about the film, The Zoya Factor is an unusual story about an advertising agent becoming a lucky charm for the Indian cricket team when she chances upon meeting the captain of the team and how it starts raining luck ever since then! The film is being directed by Abhishek Sharma, and Fox Star Hindi is producing it. The film is slated to release on September 20, 2019.
