Sonam Kapoor has been receiving a lot of praise ever since the trailer of Neerja released on December 17. The makers have now released the film’s first poster.
The film is a biopic on Neerja Bhanot. The plot revolves around how the flight attendant laid down her life to save passengers on the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 in Karachi.
Sonam’s gritty look in the poster is something that her fans are looking forward to. This is the first time she is shedding her girly avatar and playing such a rough and tough character.
Neerja, which also stars Shabana Azmi and Shekhar Ravjiani, hits theatres on February 19.
