Sonam Kapoor’s wedding has come to a close and what a
fun-filled celebration it was. The who’s who of Bollywood came together to
bless the newlyweds and inside videos and pictures of the event took social
media by storm in no time.
A couple of days after the revelry concluded, Sanjay
Kapoor has taken to Instagram to dedicate a heartfelt message to Sonam’s
mother, Sunita Kapoor.
Alongside a picture of him with hi bhabhi, he wrote, “One
women show , wat a spectacular wedding Sonu only u could have pulled it off in
a month love u
Sonam and ANAND you’ll make the sweetest and coolest couple #sonamkishaadi (sic).”
Meanwhile, to talk of the reception, Sonam opted for a
black and grey combination lehenga choli with straightened hair. Anand Ahuja on
the other hand, chose a black bandhgala sherwani- both look adorable together.

Karan Johar along with the Bachchans - Amitabh, Abhishek & Shweta - were
present for the pheras.

Sonam looked fabulous in her wedding avatar. She wore a deep
red-lehenga. While Anand slayed it in a beige sherwani.
The wedding functions started on Sunday night, with an intimate
Mehendi ceremony at Anil Kapoor’s Juhu bungalow. On Monday, a more
elaborate Mehendi ceremony was organized at Signature Island, BKC.

Apart from close family members and cousins, Bollywood stars like Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Karisma Kapoor,
Rekha, Rani Mukerji, Shilpa Shetty, Karan Johar and Swara Bhasker also
attended the party.
Sonam and Anand’s love story began in 2014 when the duo met through a common
friend. After a year of making various appearances together and PDA posts on
social media, Sonam and Anand finally decided to take the plunge and tie the
knot.
