It's celebration time at the Kapoor residence. Bride-to-be Sonam Kapoor looks like a vision in hands decked with henna. Though the main Mehendi function is tomorrow, it seems Sonam and the close family is getting mehendi put tonight itself.
Anand Ahuja has reached the Kapoor bungalow. He received a grand Punjabi-style welcome, complete with loud dhol beats.

The function is
being attended by the near and dear ones of the Kapoor family. Karan Johar, who
is extremely close to Sonam and the family was one of the first ones to arrive.

sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are also there. Janhvi made a stunning
entry outside the bungalow and posed for the shutterbugs. She is in a white
lehenga choli with a pink border.

Coming to talk of
the lovely couple, Sonam and Anand’s love story began in 2014 when the duo met
through a common friend. Anand proposed to Sonam in a month’s time after their
first meeting and the rest as they say is history.
After years of making various appearances together and PDA posts on social
media, Sonam and Anand have decided to take the plunge and are ready to tie the
knot on May 8.
The functions are slated to take place between May 7 and 8. Mehendi has been organized at Sunteck
Signature Island, BKC. The function will kick-start at 4 pm.
On May 8, the wedding will
take place in the morning at Rockdale, Bandra. This is Sonam’s aunt’s bungalow.
The rituals will start at 11 am and will go on till 12:30 pm. And after Sonam-Anand take the wedding vows, the day will end with
a fancy party at The Leela, Mumbai. This bash will commence at 8
pm.
The vibes at the Kapoor house is full of energy and festivities. Yesterday, Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor along with Jacqueline
Fernandez, had posted videos of their dance rehearsals at Anil Kapoor’s Juhu
bungalow, which is lit-up and decorated beautifully. Chachu Sanjay Kapoor, who
visited the bungalow, broke into a bhangra as soon as he reached the
house on Friday night.
Coming to the wedding, we’re sure fans can’t keep calm and are super excited to
see Sonam turn into a beautiful bride.
