Soni Razdan Shares Statistics Of The Rate Of COVID-19 Vaccination In India; Tweets ‘Pray For A Miracle’
Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan is quite active on Twitter, and uses the microblogging platform to air her views about important issues. Soni Razdan fearlessly speaks up on Twitter, and this time around, she shared about the ongoing pace of the COVID-19 vaccination in India. She tweeted some statistics about the percentage of people that got vaccinated so far, and that she believes the percentage will still be less in the next 2 months due to the shortage of COVID-19 vaccines.

Soni Razdan tweeted, “In 6 months we have vaccinated 3% of the population. Next 2 months will also go by with hardly anything much due to the shortage. We have 4 months left ... do the math. (And pray for a miracle)”. While many of her fans agreed with her, and expressed their concern over the ongoing pace of the vaccination drive, a few also pointed out how India’s population is huge, and how that presents a massive challenge to get people vaccinated in a short span of time.

Earlier, a few days ago, Soni Razdan had shared a screenshot of her chat with her house help. She revealed that he had been unwell in Bihar, and she claimed that when he was traveling to Madhubani from Kolhua to get a COVID-19 test done, he was beaten up.

“Chat with our cook who is unwell in Bihar. When he tries to go for a covid test to Madhubani from Kolhua he is beaten up. Who is to be held accountable for this ? This is just so shocking. Pic is graphic so I edited it. How can numbers be correct if villages r not testing,” she tweeted.
