Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety And De De Pyaar De’s Sequels In Pipeline Confirms Producer Bhushan Kumar
Producer Bhushan Kumar has confirmed that sequels to Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and De De Pyaar De are in the planning stages. Looking at the success of these films, the producer has decided to take it ahead in the upcoming year
One of the giants of the film producing league is producer Bhushan Kumar, the producer had a long line up of films to be shot in Summer 2020, but due to lockdown because of COVID-19 pandemic, all the film shoots have come to a halt. Midst of this lockdown, the producer has given us a reason to cheer up, Bhushan Kumar has confirmed to take his popular and hit comedy dramas such as Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and De De Pyaar De ahead.
During his interaction with Mumbai Mirror, while he confirmed of planning a sequel to De De Pyaar De, taking the story ahead, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety will be taken ahead in form of a franchisee, looking at its success at the box office and audience’s fondness towards the bromance genre. The publication quoted him saying, “Yes, Luv Ranjan and I have a sequel in mind for De De Pyaar De. We are definitely doing Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 2, it’s a great franchise to take forward.”
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety starred Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh in the main lead. The trio’s on screen chemistry tickled audience’s funny bone and the movie proved to be solid hit at the box office.
