Actor Sonu Sood’s father Shakti Sood passed away yesterday at their ancestral home in Moga (Punjab).
The 77-year-old was suffering from respiratory problems and died following a cardiac arrest.
Sonu, a member of Punjab De Sher team, was in Mohali to participate in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) match.
After the match, the actor visited his dad and was talking to him when the latter suddenly collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital, but was declared brought dead.
Sonu had lost his mother Saroj eight years ago.
