The country is facing a surge in Covid-19 cases and actor Sara Ali Khan is one of the prominent voices that have been utilising their social media influence to source and provide Covid relief. Now, the actor has extended her support further and donated a significant amount to Sonu Sood’s charity foundation for purchasing more oxygen cylinders for those in dire need. Knowing India is suffering a lot from the virus, Sara makes contributions and Sood thanks Sara Ali Khan as she makes a generous donation to his foundation. The actor says he is extremely proud of her and that she has inspired the youth of the nation

Thanking Sara for her contribution, Sood took to his social media and wrote, “Thank you so much my dear Sara Ali Khan for your contribution to the  @soodfoundation! Extremely proud of you & keep on doing the good work. You have inspired the youth of the nation to come forward and help during these difficult times. You are a hero @sara_ali_khan95” Sara has been consistently amplifying and giving a shout-out to Covid relief requirements and resources on her social media. Truly, the young actress is doing her bit towards society in these tough times and continues to be a source of inspiration to many.

Just recently, Sonu Sood penned an emotional note as he mourned the death of a 25-year-old COVID-19 patient whom he got airlifted in an air ambulance from Nagpur to Hyderabad.


Sonu's grief note read, "Bharti, a young girl from Nagpur whom I airlifted on an air ambulance to Hyderabad passed away last night. Rest In Power My Dear Bharti. You fough the last month like a complete tigress on an Ecmo machine. Even though I never met you, you'll Always hold a very special place in my heart. My condolences to her entire family. I'm going to meet them very soon. Life is genuinely unfair at times.
