Sooryavanshi: Katrina Kaif Kick-Starts Shooting; Introduces Akshay Kumar's Character Veer Sooryavanshi
Katrina Kaif recently took to Instagram to announce that she has begun shooting for Sooryavanshi. Not only this, she introduced her on-screen husband Akshay Kumar’s character name as well
Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi has been the talk of the town since inception. The film which marks the third film in Rohit’s cop-verse and also marks the reunion of Kaif and Akshay Kumar after 9 years. However, the added tadka in this film is that we are going to see Simmba aka Ranveer Singh and Singham aka Ajay Devgn featuring in the movie, just like we saw in Simmba (remember the climax?). And Katrina just lit up our Dussehra by sharing an update of the film.
The actress shared a picture on her social media which is related to her upcoming film Sooryavanshi. Katrina recently took to Instagram to announce that the shooting for the film has begun. Not only this, she introduced her on-screen husband Akshay Kumar’s character name as well. The picture shared by her has Akshay’s name tag on his Khaki uniform which is Veer Sooryavanshi, giving us all the feels.
While sharing the picture, her caption read, ‘Now shooting.” Going by her caption, it looks like she has started shooting for this film while Akshay was already in Hyderabad with Shetty. Uff, we can’t wait to see onscreen in the uniform.
Meanwhile, according to a Mumbai Mirror report, it was reported that the makers are planning for an epic climax for Sooryvanshi which is expected to be larger than life. That’s not it, the report also suggested that Rohit and his team have been working on the climax for a while now so that all the three super cops get apt screen time. They have also cracked a scenario that does justice to the three super cops. Akshay will be playing the role of DCP Veer Sooryavanshi and chief of the anti-terrorism squad while Katrina will play Akshay's wife.
The film which was supposed to hit the big screens on Eid 2020 will now be releasing in March 2020.
