Sooryavanshi Trailer Launch: Akshay Kumar Slams A Journalist For Asking A ‘Kameena’ Question To Ranveer Singh- WATCH
The much awaited trailer of Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi was released online some time back. The trailer launch event happened in the city wherein the filmmaker, producer Karan Johar, actors Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh were present.

The tone was quite energetic what with all these biggies getting together to launch the trailer with gusto. But, there came a moment when Akki turned a bit serious.

It so happened that a reporter asked Ranveer as to what does he have to say over being labeled as ‘Kameena’ by the film fraternity. This is in reference to a dialogue in the trailer wherein Akshay’s Sooryavanshi says ‘Yeh kaam sirf ek hi kameena kar sakta hai- Simmba’.

Post the journalists’ question, Ranveer replied ‘Direct insult!’ Before he could say any further, Akshay quickly reprimanded the journalist and said, “Yeh fraternity ke baat nahi, yeh film ki baat hai. Yeh aapka bohot galat jo aapne aisa kaha. Aapne bohot galat hisaab se sawaal kiya hai. Woh film ke andar dialogue hai, na ki fraternity ka dialogue hai. Main aapse darkhvaast karunga ki aap aisa na puche.”

Ranveer quickly cooled down the situation by praising Akshay and addressing him as his savior.

We also saw Katrina quizzing Ranveer as to why he doesn’t use Kay By Katrina lipsticks and he replied in the most fun manner. And Akshay-Ajay together pulled Ranveer’s leg by taunting him on his late arrival for the launch event.

Sooryavanshi is directed by Rohit Shetty, produced by Karan Johar and it stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh. The film is slated to release on March 24, 2020.
