Actress Anushka Sharma is currently busy fulfilling her mommy duties, as she gave birth to her and cricketer Virat Kohli’s son Akaay Kohli. After taking a much-needed break, she made her first public appearance on Saturday evening. She attended the recent IPL match between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). For those who don’t know, Kohli is a part of the RCB team. Photos and videos of the same are currently going viral on X (formerly known as Twitter), leaving fans ecstatic.

Dressed in a white outfit, Anushka left her hair open for the occasion. With minimal makeup on her face, she was seen cheering for her husband from the stands. Virat was spotted interacting with her through gestures, just like they always do. Well, the 36-year-old actress’ first appearance after the birth of her son has certainly grabbed the headlines. Fans have been continuously sharing glimpses of her from the cricket match on social media. Anushka Sharma tied the knot with her husband Virat Kohli in 2017, in a beautiful intimate wedding ceremony in Tuscany. They welcomed their first child, a daughter Vamika in January 2021 and their son Akaay in February 2024. It is to be noted that ever since they welcomed their daughter, she had been kept away from the limelight. The celebrity couple even released a statement requesting the paparazzi to not click her photos. They have maintained the same protocol for their newborn son.

On the work front, last seen in Zero, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma has Chakda Xpress in her pipeline. She will be seen essaying the role of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the upcoming sports film. Set to stream on Netflix, the movie is directed by Prosit Roy.
