Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar threw a housewarming party last night as the talented director has bought a plush 4-BHK apartment at Khar West, Mumbai. The building’s name is Kakad Niwas. The party was attended by a lot of biggies including Shah Rukh Khan, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and few top industrialists like Gautam Singhania.
Shah Rukh Khan who appeared extremely happy, arrived at the party around 12: 30 am. Why wouldn’t he be happy? SRK released a teaser for his film Raees’ trailer to be launched on Dec 7 and he has been getting great response for it. Not to forget his last film Dear Zindagi which released last week is performing well at the BO.
Coming back to Madhur’s party, other guests who attended the party were his good friends like Subhash Ghai, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Vipul Shah, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Kunal Kohli, Baba Siddiqui, and Kirti Kulhari who is working in Madhur’s next Indu Sarkar. The housewarming bash went on till 3 am.
On the work front, Madhur is currently working on Indu Sarkar, which is based on the Emergency of 1975, a 21-month long period from 1975 to 1977, when Prime Minister Indira Gandhi unilaterally had a state of emergency declared across the country.
Things seem to be looking good for Madhur-new house, new film; he is on a roll!
