months, since late Sridevi left for heavenly abode (Feb 24). Today is the late
actress’ 55th birth anniversary. On this special day, her daughter, Janhvi
Kapoor shared a priceless throwback moment, remembering her mother. Janhvi, who
is riding high on the success of her debut film, Dhadak, took to social media
and shared a throwback picture where we can see baby Janhvi in Sridevi’s arms
while dad, Boney Kapoor stands behind them. In the snap, Janhvi looks cute in
white dress paired with white shoes and hat. It must be truly a special memory

A day before his beloved wife’s birthday, Boney Kapoor spoke to a section of media about Sridevi. He said, “There are heroes and then there are legends, heroes get remembered but legends never die. Sri lives with us every day… not a minute goes by when we don’t miss her.”
As a mark of
respect, the Information & Broadcasting Ministry is playing out some of the
actress’ finest work at the Films Division in the capital today and tomorrow,
ie, on August 13 and 14.
