After the
embalming procedure was completed, veteran actress Sridevi’s mortal remains
were taken to the Dubai airport.
Ambani’s private
jet that left from Mumbai, for Dubai as early as Sunday evening, is waiting to take off.
Sridevi’s remains
are expected to reach Mumbai by later tonight and the cremation will take place
at 1-1.30 pm tomorrow.
Sridevi
Once the star’s
mortal remains reach Mumbai, they will be taken to Bhagyalaxmi, Boney
Kapoor’s office. Post that, the body will be cremated at Pawan Hans
Crematorium, Juhu.
This afternoon,
Dubai Police handed over the Consulate and the family members (of Sridevi)
letters for the release of the mortal remains of the actress, after which it
was taken for embalming.
Meanwhile,
according to the Public Prosecutor, the case stands closed, no further
investigation will take place.
Earlier in the
day, Arjun Kapoor rushed to Dubai to be by Boney Kapoors side in this time
of crisis.
