Sanjay Leela Bhansali threw a big bash at a popular Bandra joint to celebrate his National Award win for Bajirao Mastani last night. And what caught our attention was the interesting guest list.
Shah Rukh Khan dropped in to congratulate the director for the national honour. Considering SRK’s Dilwale clashed at the box-office with Bajirao Mastani, speculation was rife that the superstar and Bhansali weren’t on the best of terms. But their recent appearance at a music awards night and now, this should put all rumours to rest.
While his on-screen Mastani Deepika Padukone was missing from the party since she is busy with xXx shoot , Bhansali’s original Mastani – read Aishwarya Rai – lent her support to her favourite filmmaker.
Ranveer Singh was in his element - the actor sported a Bajirao Mastani T-shirt at the party.
Sonam Kapoor, who was launched by the director and shares a blow-hot-blow-cold equation with him, was by Bhansali’s side on his big day.
Rekha, Jacqueline Fernandez, Huma Qureshi, Simi Garewal, Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty and many others attended the do. Check out the pictures below.
