Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s relationship has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. The two are speculated to dating each other for nearly three years now. As per the latest reports, Athiya and KL Rahul will tie the knot in the next three months and the grand preparations for this big fat wedding are underway. Now, Suniel Shetty has reacted to his daughter’s wedding rumours and set the record straight.
In a recent interview with Radio Mirchi, when the Hera Pheri actor was asked if Athiya’s wedding is happing soon, he dismissed the rumours by saying nothing has been planned yet. Sunil was quoted saying, “No, nothing has been planned yet!” Earlier, Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty had brushed off his sister's wedding reports and told Dainik Bhaskar, “As far as the wedding is concerned, there are no arrangements being made. There is no such ceremony, these are all rumours. Rumour has it that Athiya and cricketer KL Rahul have been in a relationship for more than three years now and the couple now wants to take their relationship to the next level. Reportedly, Rahul’s parents were in Mumbai to meet the Shetty family and they all visited their new house where they will be moving in soon. It was reported that the wedding will be a grand affair.
Meanwhile, although Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul have been tight-lipped about their relationship in public, their mushy photos, secret vacations and dinner outings say it all. The lovebirds made their relationship official last year during the premiere of Ahaan Shetty's debut film Tadap. Athiya and KL Rahul made a grand entry together and happily posed for the shutterbugs at the star-studded premiere.
