Suniel Shetty REACTS To Daughter Athiya Shetty’s WEDDING Rumours With KL Rahul: It Is For Them To Decide What They Want

Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty lately has been making headlines owing to wedding speculations. The actress is rumoured to get married to her boyfriend KL Rahul in December this year. In fact, a few weeks ago, it was reported that the rumoured couple rented a sea-facing apartment in Mumbai to move in together. As Athiya- Rahul’s wedding rumours gain momentum, Suniel Shetty in a recent interview has opened up about his daughter’s wedding reports doing the rounds. The Hera Pheri actor stated that they both are grownups and it is for them to decide what they want.
Speaking to ETimes, Suniel said, “She is my daughter, she will get married sometime. I would want my son to also get married, the sooner the better. It's their choice. As far as KL Rahul is concerned, I love the boy. And it is for them to decide what they want to do, because times have changed. Beti aur beta dono hi responsible hai (My daughter and son are both responsible people). I would like them to take the decision. Earlier, Athiya Shetty’s brother Ahan Shetty had dismissed the actress' wedding rumours saying no arrangements were made, all these are mere rumours. “When there is no wedding, how can we give you a date. Engagement bhi nahi hui hai. Haal filhal uski bhi koi planning nahi hai. There is no planning for a wedding in the next few months as well,” Ahan had said.
For the unversed, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are said to be dating each other for several years now. They made make their first public appearance together at the star-studded premiere of Ahan’s debut film Tadap in Mumbai. The duo happily posed together for the media and paparazzi.
