Suniel Shetty REVEALS Why Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn Are Way Ahead Of Him In Career: ‘I Was Not Focused When I Was Working, Made Wrong Choices’
Suniel Shetty reveals he is not insecure of his contemporaries Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn as they are doing much better in their acting careers
Suniel Shetty is an actor par excellence and there is no denying that. He recently made his OTT debut with the show ‘Dharavi Bank’ where he plays the role of a gangster Thalaivan and Sunil has been busy promoting the same. In an interview, he talked about his contemporaries Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn and revealed why they are way ahead of him. Suniel also clarified that they both inspire him not just not necessarily for movies but also for how to stay focused to achieve dreams.
When asked if he feels insecure or any sort of pressure because of his contemporaries doing better than him, Shetty asserted he is very comfortable in his own space. The Dhadkan actor told Bollywoodlife, “I never take pressure because I have a world of mine which is so beautiful that I probably feel they must have missed out, maybe I don’t know. I am happy when it comes to a lot of things I have done in my life and things I am doing in my life. I am someone who has always been very comfortable in my own space. Suniel added, “I am not insecure. Akshay and Ajay inspire me not necessarily for movies but for the idea to stay focused and you could achieve anything. I was not probably focused when I was working. I didn’t pay heed to the scripts I was hearing or believed I was larger than life but that was a mistake. If my son Ahan learns from my experience I feel I have achieved everything.”
On a related note, ‘Dharavi Bank’ which also starred Vivek Oberoi and Sonali Kulkarni, was released on November 19, 2022. Suniel will next be seen in Feroz Nadiadwala’s Hera Pheri 3.
