The childhood picture of Sanjay Dutt shows Sunil Dutt holding his hand, and looking down lovingly at him. Remembering his father, Sanjay Dutt penned a short yet emotional note and wrote, “Always holding my hand through thick and thin. Love you Dad, Happy Birthday!” Sanjay Dutt often shares the most endearing throwback pictures with his father Sunil Dutt and mother Nargis, remembering all the memories they had shared.
A few days ago, on Sunil Dutt’s death anniversary, Sanjay Dutt had shared another throwback picture with him. Sharing the memory, Sanjay Dutt wrote, “A parent, an idol, a friend, a mentor - you were everything to me. Love you Dad, miss you."
In an old interview with IANS, Sanjay Dutt had spoken about Sunil Dutt being an inspiration for him. “Whatever I am today is because of my father. He is my inspiration and I miss him every day. I did not always share an easy relationship with him. But he always stood by me. I wish he was here to see me as a free man and the beautiful family that I have today.
