Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely death was one of the most heartbreaking news of 2020. The entire nation mourned over his death but as fans thought Sushant faced injustice, they joined hands with SSR's family members in the quest to seek justice. His father even filed an FIR after which three federal agencies - Central Bureau of Investigation, Enforcement Directorate and Narcotics Bureau of Control were brought on board to investigate the death case. Now, the latest news suggests that SSR’s friend and assistant director Rishikesh Pawar who went missing has appeared before the court on Wednesday, as reported by Mumbai Mirror.
He was arrested on Tuesday in connection to the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput. Pawar was also interrogated by NCB where they reportedly, found out that Pawar allegedly played a big role in turning the Dil Bechara actor into a drug addict. Earlier, an official on the case revealed that assistant film director Rishikesh Pawar was detained by the NCB officials as they said to IANS, "Pawar was detained by the Mumbai zonal team of the NCB after various summons were issued to him."
It is also reported that during the lockdown, Sushant's household help Dipesh Sawant contacted him to get drugs, and the same was arranged to be sent at the actor's house. Meanwhile, a raided was conducted by the NCB officials a Pawar’s residence where they reportedly seized some gadgets from his place during the search.
Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14, 2020, after reportedly hanging himself at his Bandra residence. On January 21, his fans and well-wishers celebrated his birth anniversary.
