Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is still under investigation. The actor passed away in June last year and was found dead in his Mumbai’s Bandra residence. Since then, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) have been investigating the actor’s death case. Sushant Singh Rajput’s roommate, Siddharth Pithani was arrested by the NCB from Hyderabad in connection to the actor’s death case recently. According to a report in Mid-Day, the NCB was on a lookout for Pithani since August 2020.
Interestingly, Siddharth Pithani’s social media post helped NCB in arresting him. The NCB tracked Siddharth through his new Instagram account. For the unversed, Pithani had deleted his old Instagram account soon after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. In April this year, Siddharth made a post from his new Instagram account. He posted pictures of him posing at a gym along with a few others. The photos see him clicking a selfie and smiling for the camera. Siddharth shared the pictures, with the caption, “Pizza power #foodandfitness @fitnessturfasraonagar” Siddharth had also posted a picture from his engagement.”

Meanwhile, the NCB then reached the gym that Siddharth had tagged in his post. However, they couldn’t find him there. Sameer Wankhede, Zonal director of NCB Mumbai told Mid-Day that the team was constantly tracking him. He mentioned they had resorted to all digital platforms to arrest him. As per the report, the reason NCB looking for Siddharth Pithani was because he was one of the members who were present at SSR’s residence at the time of his death. The report mentioned that Siddharth was allegedly avoiding the investigation. In the report, the NCB official also revealed that Pithani was not responding to their summons.
