Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Maharashtra Government Submits Probe Report To Supreme Court In A Sealed Cover - REPORTS
The Supreme Court reportedly passed an order to Mumbai Police to put on record the investigation carried out in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case while evaluating Rhea Chakraborty's plea seeking transfer of the FIR filed against her. Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna reportedly accusing her of abetment of sucide, cheating and more. Later the actress filed a plea in Supreme Court demanding the transfer of the FIR to Mumbai Police. During the course of the Supreme Court hearing, it was revealed that the Centre has accepted the request for a CBI probe.

Latest developments suggest that the Maharashtra Government has filed the probe report to the Supreme Court in a sealed cover. The update was shared by Times Now. The Supreme Court had given three days of time to Mumbai Police to put on record the investigation that was carried out in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case so far. The Supreme Court had also ordered the given parties Maharashtra Government, Bihar Government and Sushant's father to file their replies to Rhea Chakraborty's plea seeking transfer of FIR.

Earlier today, reports emerged that Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh filed a counter-affidavit in Supreme Court saying that Rhea Chakraborty's plea now stands infructuous as the CBI has already taken over the probe. Reportedly, the Supreme Court judge had also raised questions over the investigation carried out so far. And on the quarantining of Bihar IPS Officer Vinay Tiwari in Mumbai, Justice Roy had stated, "It doesn't send a good message to quarantine police officers from Bihar."
