Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Enforcement Directorate Records Late Actor’s Father KK Singh’s Statement In New Delhi; Asks Him To Provide Evidence-Reports
As the investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case continues, the Enforcement Directorate records the statement of the late actor’s father KK Singh’s in New Delhi, as per reports. The ED also asked KK Singh to provide evidence in allegations against Rhea Chakraborty
After Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden and untimely demise, his father KK Singh lodged an FIR against his son’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and five others, accusing them of abetment of suicide. Since then, the Enforcement Directorate is investigating the case and has recorded the statements of Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and others in connection to Sushant’s demise and the money laundering angle. As the investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case continues, the Enforcement Directorate records the statement of the late actor’s father KK Singh’s in New Delhi, as per reports. The ED also asked KK Singh to provide evidence in allegations against Rhea Chakraborty.
On Twitter, Times Now tweeted about Sushant’s father KK Singh recording his statement with the Enforcement Directorate. As per the report, since the late actor’s father, was the one who lodged the FIR with the Bihar police accusing Rhea and her family of siphoning at least Rs 15 crore from SSR’s bank accounts, the ED recorded his statements on the same. The report stated that since the ED is investigating under the section of PMLA, recording the statement of Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh was important.
As per a report in IndiaToday, the ED has asked Sushant Singh Rajput’s father to provide evidence regarding this allegation, if he has any. The report also mentioned that Rajput’s father in his statement mentioned that the money has gone to accounts which are not related to the late actor and said that he suspects that the beneficiary of these accounts is Rhea and her family members. Other than this, the ED will also record the statement of Rhea’s CA Ritesh Shah before summoning the actress and her family members again.
Meanwhile, sources in the report revealed that Rhea Chakraborty’s answers have not been satisfactory. The source also disclosed that the ED has found that Rhea’s expenses and income tax returns do not match with her bank statements. Before Rajput’s father KK Singh, Sushant’s sister Meetu Singh was also summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in Mumbai. Reportedly, Sushant’s sister Meetu Singh’s statement was recorded for over six and a half hours by the ED, in Mumbai. So far, the ED has questioned Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, her father, Sushant’s manager Shruti Modi, friend Siddharth Pithani and some of his staff were also summoned for questioning by the ED office in Mumbai.
