Sushant Singh Rajput's family including his father and a few members have arrived in Mumbai for the last rites of the actor

Sushant Singh Rajput's funeral is to take place today in a crematorium in Vile Parle. The actor's family from Patna has touched down Mumbai. Sushant's father accompanied by a few members were spotted at the airport as they flew down to Mumbai to carry out the last rites of the actor. As per a report in India TV, actor's father and brother have reached his apartment in Bandra where he took his life. They are also said to be accompanied by a Pandit.
However, the mortal remains of the actor will be taken to the crematorium directly from Cooper hospital where the postmortem was performed. As Police was informed about his death by his servant and neighbours, his mortal remains were taken to the hospital in an ambulance and as per the postmortem report, the actor died due to suffocation by hanging. He has not left behind a suicide note, hence, nobody knows exactly what made Sushant take such a drastic step. He was said to be in depression for the last few months.

Recently, pictures and video of his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty exiting the Cooper Hospital had also made it to the internet. The actress did not talk to media, however, she appeared to be completely torn and in tears.
Sushant was best known for his films like MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kai Po Che and many more. He will be forever remembered for his prolific performances.
