Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely death has got millions of people grieving over a loss that is nothing less than personal. Sushant, who was reportedly battling depression from the past few years, hung himself to death in his Mumbai residence yesterday. It is a known fact that Sushant Singh Rajput was rumoured to be dating actress Rhea Chakraborty and the two, as per News18, were also in a live-in relationship and were practicing social distancing amid the Coronavirus lockdown. Reportedly, sometime before taking such a drastic step, Sushant had sent Rhea back to her home and the actress has also been silent on this tragedy.
Now, a report in News18 tells how the Mumbai Police will be interrogating Rhea to record her statement on this matter. It states that the officials, as a part of their investigation, want to know the details of their relationship, the reason behind him suffering from depression and what possibly triggered him to take such a severe step. Rhea and Sushant never publicly acknowledged their relationship but they often dropped hints through their social media PDA. The rumoured couple was also spotted together several times and they had gone vacationing to several locations. Rhea is yet to comment on the news of Sushant's demise.
Meanwhile, Sushant's postmortem reports revealed that he died because of 'asphyxia due to hanging'. ANI's tweet on this matter read, "Team of 3 doctors have conducted the autopsy of #SushanthSinghRajput. The provisional cause of death is asphyxia due to hanging: Abhishek Trimukhe, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP)."
It was only a few days ago that Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-manager Disha Salian due to suicide. The actor had also expressed his grief over the same. But life, as they say, is extremely unpredictable.
