Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Rhea Chakraborty’s Brother Showik Admits He Procured Drugs For SSR On Sister’s Request In His Testimony-Reports
Late Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was arrested on Tuesday, September 8, by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection to the drugs angle in the SSR death case. Rhea Chakraborty’s arrest came after her brother Showik Chakraborty, and others related to the drugs angle were arrested by the NCB. In a significant development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, according to reports, Rhea’s brother Showik admitted that he procured drugs for the late actor on his sister’s request.

Times Now reported that sources revealed that Rhea Chakraborty's brother admitted to the NCB that he procured drugs for SSR on the behest of Rhea. In Showik Chakraborty’s accessed testimony, Times Now sources shared that Rhea’s brother admitted that his sister paid for him to be the conduit to get the drugs. Showik mentioned that the drugs were brought in before the lockdown and it was he who got it all.  According to the reports, it was the testimonies of several people including Showik that lead to Rhea’s arrest.

Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB officials after her brother Showik Chakraborty’s arrest. As the NCB was investigating the drugs angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, SSR’s house manager Samuel Miranda, housekeeper Dipesh Sawant and others including drug peddlers have been arrested.

It was reported recently that Showik Chakraborty and others were being shifted to Taloja Jail yesterday. Showik, Samuel Miranda, Dipesh Sawant, and others were shifted to Taloja jail due to the quarantine facility there.
