Rhea Chakraborty To Be Released From Byculla Jail? Mumbai Court To Pronounce Verdict On Actress’ Bail Plea Tomorrow
The Narcotics Control Bureau has been investigating the drugs link in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, and had arrested Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik and Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda on Friday. After three days of questioning by the NCB, Rhea Chakraborty was also arrested on Tuesday. Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said that a special court in Mumbai will hear the bail applications of Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik on Thursday.

The hearing of Rhea’s bail plea took place today, and according to Republic, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said that the NCB custody was illegal and so, bail should be provided. Meanwhile, NCB reportedly argued against the bail plea on the basis of Showik’s confession that Rhea had procured drugs. Satish Maneshinde argued that Zaid used to supply drugs to Anuj Keswani, Kaizan, Samuel Miranda and Deepesh Sawant and that all of it happened before Rhea came into Sushant’s life. According to Republic, Satish Maneshinde also said that NCB had coerced Rhea into making confessions and that no drugs were seized from her.

Now, Hindustan Times has reported that special court in Mumbai will give its verdict on the bail pleas filed by Rhea and her brother tomorrow, that is, on Friday.
