Now in a shocking turn of events, a Navi Mumbai based 32-year-old, Sagar Surve, a clerical staff has been receiving endless harassing and abusive calls as he has been mistaken for Rhea Chakraborty.

Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence and later his father filed an FIR against girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty of abetting it. That apart, the Jalebi actress has also been accused of cheating, theft, among other severe charges against her and 5 others. As the SSR case is getting murkier day-by-day, Rhea and her brother have been called by ED (Enforcement Directorate) multiple times for interrogating.
Now in a shocking turn of events, a Navi Mumbai based a 32-year-old, Sagar Surve, a clerical staff has been receiving endless harassing and abusive calls as he has been mistaken for Rhea Chakraborty. Yes, that’s true! According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, when Sagar received the first, ‘asking for Rhea’, he dismissed it by saying that it was a ‘wrong number.’ Later when the confusion grew, Sagar’s cousin explained to him that a news TV channel had been flashing Chakraborty’s number while showing Rajput’s call records.
He further pointed out to Surve that Rhea and his number differ by just a digit and that’s when Surve connected the dots. Speaking about the same to Mumbai Mirror, Sagar said, “I started receiving messages, voice calls and video calls on WhatsApp. People asked me to send them a photograph of myself when I told them that they were mistaken. I tried to ignore the calls, but it only worsened over the next three days.”
