Sushant Singh Rajput Demise: Janhvi Kapoor's Dhadak Director Shashank Khaitan QUITS Twitter; Feels It's A 'Breeding Ground For Hate, Negativity'
Social media, at present, is burning with rage over Sushant Singh Rajput's tragic demise after on Sunday noon; the actor hung himself to death in his house. Reportedly, he was undergoing depression and it only got severe in the last few days. The internet, however, is blaming certain bigwigs for contributing to Sushant's degrading mental condition through nepotism. Amidst all this, filmmaker Shashank Khaitan, who has directed flicks like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Dhadak, has quit the microblogging site. Moments before going off Twitter, he had slammed those spreading hatred in his last tweet.

Taking to his Instagram account, Khaitan shared a screenshot of his last tweet, in which he called Twitter a breeding ground for 'hate and negativity'. Further, Shashank hoped to see people spreading love and positivity instead. "Done with twitter... just a breeding ground for hate and negativity... very sad that a platform so powerful, could not be used to create a better world... praying for peace and love always... deactivating my account now ... @Twitterindia,” wrote Shashank, minutes before pulling down his account. Well, the reason behind him taking such a step is unclear as of now.

On his Instagram, he wrote, "Finally deleted my twitter account... I am surely inconsequential, in terms of followers and reach for the platform... but I believe every voice is important... hope such a powerful platform can evolve and reform to spread love and happiness ... Praying for a peaceful world always…”
