Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was the only brother among his four sisters and was loved by them. After Sushant’s sudden and untimely demise, his sisters miss their brother a lot and have been constantly sharing pictures and videos with him, on social media. As Rajput’s family continues to seek justice for the late actor, on Raksha Bandhan 2020, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared pictures from their beautiful childhood. As Sushant Singh Rajput shared a close bond with his dearest sister Priyanka Singh, did you know that the late actor had once penned down the sweetest hand-written note for her?

According to a report in Republic, Sushant Singh Rajput once wrote a letter for his sister Priyanka Singh and called her his ‘Sona Chidiya’ which means a golden bird, which also means Sonchiriya, the title to one of his films. The note Sushant wrote to his beloved Sona Chidiya termed his sister Priyanka Singh as the keeper of his mother’s light. Sushant also called her his ‘ravishing sister’ and the ‘pauses in my betweens'.

The note Sushant Singh Rajput wrote for his sister Priyanka Singh has been shared by Republic and it read, “For my BEST ‘Sona Chidiya’! From the immense width of my soul, to the depth & web of my knowledge, & then the ‘deserving’ keeper of my mother’s light, in the dark unfolding of  my judgement, You are my marker & You are my fact, & then you are my ‘ravishing’ sister, are also my pauses in my ‘betweens’.... Between Love & Respect  your confused Bhai ;)"

Meanwhile, as per the report, Sushant once revealed that he was closest to his sister Priyanka Singh and mentioned that it was because she understood him and they thought alike. The late actor also stated that if there was someone he had a ‘Pavitra Rishta’ with, it was his sister Priyanka.


Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14. On Raksha Bandhan 2020, after Sushant’s demise, Priyanka Singh took to her Twitter and shared a cute picture with her late brother. Calling him her soulmate, Priyanka Singh mentioned how much she missed Sushant and also added how she could not describe the void.
