After the sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been investigating an alleged drugs nexus in Bollywood. Sushant Singh Rajput's friend and flatmate, Siddharth Pithani who was arrested by the NCB in May had moved the court seeking bail for the second time. However, as per latest report, NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede gave an update on the same and said that his bail will be opposed by the NCB.

Speaking to ETimes, NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede said, "We will be filing a reply to the bail application, opposing his bail." As many are already aware, the court had earlier rejected his bail application but he was given permission for his marriage, which was schedule for June 25.

Post his wedding, Pithani surrendered himself before the court and since then he is in the custody of the Narcotics Control Bureau. For the uninitiated, Siddharth was traced by the NCB through his social media post and later arrested from Hyderabad on May 28 for his alleged links in the Sushant Singh Rajput drug case. SSR's girlfriend, actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik were also arrested by the NCB in relation to the drugs case, but were later released.

Talking about SSR, recently his sister Priyanka Singh took to Twitter to urge the founder and co-founder of Wikipedia to change the cause of his death as mentioned on the site. She mentioned that since the investigation of the actor's death is still ongoing, the cause of his death should be changed from "suicide by hanging" to "under investigation".
