Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death: This Is Why Rhea Chakraborty Now Opposes A CBI Probe In SSR’s Death Case-Details Inside
Rhea Chakraborty has been reported to be against a CBI probe in the actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s case after asking for it initially. The actress who had earlier mentioned of having no objection of a CBI inquiry in the actor’s death case to SC and has also written to Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah seeking the same, has a reason for going back on her words now, stated her lawyer. According to her lawyer Satish Maneshinde, the actress has opposed it due to the illegal registration and investigation, in this case, carried out by Bihar Police, also mentioning unlawful transfer of the case to CBI.   

The statement released by the actress’ lawyer also states the allegations made against Rhea as concocted and the FIR filed against her in Patna is being done with some mysterious motives. The lawyer also stated that the actress has submitted all the required documents and recorded statements in SC, Mumbai Police and ED. Her lawyer also termed the FIR filed by SSR’s father being an afterthought as it was filed 40 days after the actor’s death on June 14, 2020.

Part of her statement read, "Rhea has always maintained that she would like the truth of the matter to be revealed by virtue of a fair and impartial investigation. She has admitted in her Petition to the SC that she sent a Message to Amit Shah Union HM to order a CBI investigation. She has also informed the SC that if the court transfers it to CBI, she had no objection. What she has challenged is the illegal registration and investigation of Bihar Police without jurisdiction and transfer to CBI of an illegal investigation."

Her statement further mentions the improper behaviour towards Rhea by SSR’s sister Priyanka, which led to Rhea and SSR’s family equation going bitter. Due to this strained equation, the actress was also excluded from the actor’s last rites, the statement claimed.

After KK Singh filed an FIR against the actress, Rhea has been constantly in the news, which has got many unknown facts in the actor’s death case to the surface.
