A week prior to Sushant Singh Rajput's death, his former manager Disha Salian had ended her life by allegedly jumping from her building in Malad, Mumbai. Soon a week after, it was reported that Sushant Singh Rajput too died by suicide after reportedly hanging himself in Bandra house. While a few said Sushant’s death is somehow connected to Disha’s including Sushant's family friend, her mother recently revealed that Disha had no connection with Sushant Singh Rajput after she stopped working for him. While speaking to Zee News, Disha's mother alleged that they were not aware if Disha was working with Sushant or not but got to know about it later. She also revealed that Disha never used to discuss her work and hence, she not aware of Disha working for the late actor. During the interview, she was also asked if she ever talked to Sushant or anyone from the industry. To which her mother claimed that she was not aware of anything.
Apart from all this, there were reports that after Disha's tragic demise, Sushant started getting anxiety attacks. However, Disha's mother claims that she has no connections with Sushant Singh Rajput. Her mother also revealed that Disha did work with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Jazba and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. In the same interview with Zee News, Disha's mother even claimed that she bagged an opportunity to work with Ranbir Kapoor but she couldn't work on it and that disturbed her. On the other hand, on July 28, Sushant Singh Rajput's father filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and accused the actress under a few sections including abutment to suicide. After an FIR was lodged, Bihar Police came to Mumbai to investigate the matter where several explosives revelations were made in the media.
Meanwhile, as per the latest development in the case, Enforcement Directorate has reportedly filed a money laundering case. According to a report in Hindustan Times, ED will investigate the details of transactions made from Sushant's account and will check if anyone used Sushant’s income for creating illegal assets.
