Sushant Singh Rajput’s Flatmate Siddharth Pithani ARRESTED From Hyderabad By NCB In Drugs Case; To Remain In Custody Till June 2
Sushant Singh Rajput’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drugs probe that emerged after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death
On Friday, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Sushant Singh Rajput’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani from Hyderabad in a drugs probe that emerged after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. After Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Siddharth Pithani had been interrogated by the NCB several times. As per reports, he will be produced in a court shortly. This development was confirmed by Sameer Wankhede, in charge of Mumbai Zonal Unit, NCB, and he told ETimes, “Siddharth Pithani has been arrested and he will be shortly produced in court."
Siddharth Pithani will be in NCB custody till June 2. Siddharth Pithani’s arrest by the NCB comes about 2 and a half months after the NCB submitted a chargesheet before the special Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act court against 33 accused including actress Rhea Chakraborty and others in the drugs case probed in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020, and his death is being probed by the CBI, while the NCB has been investigating the drug angle in the case.
The drug angle had come to light when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had been investigating Sushant’s death, and had shared alleged chats about substance use with the NCB. Since then, the investigation by the NCB has been going on, and several Bollywood celebs were also interrogated by the agency in the drugs case.

Last year, Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty had also been arrested by the NCB. Rhea was granted bail by the Bombay High Court, after a month. Later, Showik was also granted bail.
