Sushant Singh Rajput Visits Bihar After 17 Years To Fulfil Late Mother’s Wish
To fulfil his late mother and grandmother’s wish, Sushant Singh Rajput visited his birthplace Maldiha in Purnea district of Bihar after 17 years
Sushant Singh Rajput recently took some time off from his busy schedule and visited Bihar. The actor, who wrapped up the shoot of Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore went to his birthplace Maldiha in Purnea district. Sushant, whose last release Sonchiriya boomed at the box-office, lost his mother when he was 16, just before his board exams and reportedly, his mother and grandmother had asked a mannat for his prosperity. And now seems like to fulfil their wish, the actor went to the temple of Goddess Bhagwati in Khagaria for his mundan.
Sushant didn’t shave off his head, but he completed the ritual by trimming off a strand of his hair. The Kedarnath actor was accompanied by his father KK Singh, cousin brother and a number of relatives. The actor spent two days in Maldiha, where his paternal side of the family resides, and then he headed to his mother’s ancestral home in Bornai. Check out these pictures and videos right here:

In some pictures, the crowd can be seen gathering around Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor greeted everyone patiently. Not only this, SSR also played cricket and rode bike during his stay in Bihar.
On the work front, Sushant will next be seen in films like Drive, Chhichhore and Dil Bechara. On the personal front, he recently made headlines for his break-up with Kedarnath co-star Sara Ali Khan. The actor was in a live-in relationship with his Pavitra Rishta co-star Ankita Lokhande for several years, but called it quits after earning fame in Bollywood. His growing proximity to Raabta co-star Kriti Sanon was also said to be the reason.
However, their affair too didn’t stand the test of time, and next, we reported that the actor found love in his Kedarnath co-star, Sara. But it seems, that too wasn’t destined to be. Currently, he is enjoying his single status and focusing on his upcoming projects.
