Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen has been making headlines ever since Lalit Modi announced they are a ‘couple’ on social media. The news of their relationship is evoking mixed reactions, while some have gracefully accepted the news, a few others trolled Sen calling her a ‘gold digger.’ Amidst this, an old video of the former Miss Universe talking about Salman Khan’s bachelorhood has gone viral on social media. Sushmita had once revealed the actual reason why Khan is still single.
Her explanation is winning hearts on social media. In the viral clip, the Aarya actress in an interview was asked, “We often ask Salman this question but he never answers. I’l pose the same question to you.” Hearing this, Sushmita started laughing and explained, “You are asking the question to the two people who celebrate singlehood. They are not single because they didn’t find someone, they did that by choice.” This video has taken the internet by storm with fans applauding Sen for her relevant answer. To note, Salman and Sushmita share a great bond of friendship and have worked together in films like, ‘Biwi No 1’, ‘Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya’ and ‘Tumko Naa Bhul Payenge.’ In 2018, both the actors had a reunion at Salman's 53rd birthday party where they shared a sweet moment. They hugged and danced together.
Meanwhile, the 46-year-old actress is currently holidaying in the Maldives with businessman Lalit Modi. Last week, he shared photos of them announcing a new beginning with the actress. Modi called Sushmita his ‘love and better half.’
