Sushmita Sen’s Daughter Renee Sen Gives A Heartwarming Response When Asked About Her 'Real Mom'
During a recent Q&A, a fan asked Sushmita Sen’s daughter Renee Sen about her birth mother, and this is what she answered
Sushmita Sen is a single mother to two girls, Renee and Alisah. She adopted Renee, the elder one in 2000 and then Alisah in 2010. Sushmita dotes on her daughters and the pictures that she keeps sharing on Instagram are proof of it. Amidst this, just recently, Renee Sen held an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Instagram where a user asked her about her ‘real mother’ as the user wrote, ‘Do you know who is your real mother? Just want to know. Sus mam is fab we all know.’ But Renee’s sweet response will win your heart.
Renee sweetly replied, “I’m born to my mother’s heart. This is as real as it gets,” followed by heart and smiling emojis. Isn’t that sweet? Earlier, Sushmita had revealed how, on Renee’s 16th birthday, she offered to help her daughter find out about her biological parents when she turned 18, but Renee was not interested.
Talking to Rajeev Masand, Sushmita had said, “I told her we don’t know if the court has the names of her biological parents but there is information in an envelope which is only rightfully hers after she turns 18. I didn’t want to give her the wrong information because I did not want her to go there and get her heart broken. I told her, ‘I’ll take you whenever you’re ready... we must go.’ She told me, ‘But why do you want me to go find out?’”
On Renee’s 21st birthday, shared a bunch of old snaps, attached with a lovely note for her daughter that was penned by Sushmita, it read, “Happyyyy Birthday my first love!!! WE ARE 21. What a journey this has been shona...one that has definitely brought me closer to God!!! I pray you find the courage to be the most authentic version of yourself & always be relentless in the pursuit of your happiness...May all your dreams manifest with hard work & undying passion!! Come on big girl...the world awaits!!! I love you infinity Renee!”
