Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen is a mother to two adopted daughters- Renee and Alisah. The actress had adopted Renee in 2000, while she adopted Alisah in 2010. Sushmita Sen shares a great bond with both of her daughters, and often keeps sharing pictures and videos with them on social media. Back in 2019, Sushmita Sen had shared a video on Instagram, of her daughter Alisah reciting a beautiful, heartfelt essay on adoption. Now, as she came across the video once again recently, Sushmita was all praise for her daughter’s wisdom and grace.

Sharing the video of Alisah reading out her essay on adoption, Sushmita Sen wrote, “Such wisdom & grace!!! Alisah Sen inspires me!!! #DuggaDugga #BornFromTheHeart.” In the video, Alisah can be heard reading her essay which states that there should be no differentiation between an adopted child and a biological child. She wrote that when one adopts, they get to give a new life to someone whose parents abandoned them.

“Besides, honestly, it is a beautiful feeling to know that you gave life in such a way that you saved one. Your child will love you so much that you would never feel like they are adopted. That is the kind of love you will get from them,” she said.
