Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker is known for airing her views about social and political issues in the country fearlessly on Twitter. Rang De Basanti actor Siddharth, who is known popularly for his South films, is also among those actors who use their social media platforms to speak out about socio-political issues. Recently, Siddharth revealed that the Hindi-speaking crowd on social media has been comparing him to Swara Bhasker and calling him ‘south ka Swara’. However, he wrote he was more than happy with the comparison, and was all praise for Swara Bhasker.  

Siddharth tweeted, “Hindi speaking junta calling me south ka Swara Bhasker. Just to clarify...I would happily be Swara from anywhere or anytime. She's awesome and a cutie." Swara Bhasker responded to Siddharth’s tweet, and complimented him in return, praising him for voicing out his opinions on issues that matter. She called him ‘India ka Siddharth’. Swara wrote, “You are India ka Siddharth and we are soooooo thankful for you! Also, hey Hottie!" along with heart-eyed emojis.

Fans were loving their social media exchange, and Twitter users lauded both of them for their fearlessness. One social media user wrote, “Both of you are awesome. In the worst of times, we still have people who are risking things to make theirs and others voice heard. It helps with that fear we feel when we raise our voice,” while another replied to Siddharth’s tweet and wrote, “For Hindi speaking junta, you would be remembered as "Bhagat Singh" (Rang De Basanti) till eternity.
