Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu is an active social media and speaks her mind freely whenever needed. The actress never hesitates in pointing out the right and wrong, expressing her thoughts and opinions when required.  Just recently, Taapsee took to her social media to express her disappointment over a question asked by the Supreme Court to a man accused of raping a minor. The Thappad actress reacted and asked whether the victim was asked the same question. She also termed the question asked by the Supreme Court ‘plain simple disgust’.

On Twitter, the Naam Shabana actress made a tweet reacting to a tweet made by Live Law. She wrote, “Did someone ask the girl this question? If she wants to marry her rapist !!!??? Is that a question !!!??? This is the solution or a punishment? Plain simple DISGUST !” The law related handle reported that the Supreme Court asked a man, who stands accused of raping a minor girl, whether he will marry her. On Monday, a bench headed by the Chief Justice of India was hearing a special plea filed by a man, who is now a government servant in Maharashtra. Taapsee questioned if the girl was asked the same question. The actress raised a thought-provoking question asking if the question was even a question to be asked and if it the solution or punishment.

Meanwhile, as per the report, the 23-year-old accused, who sexually abused a minor girl, when she was 16 years was asked, “Will you marry her?” The court also went ahead and granted the accused protection from arrest for four weeks against the Bombay High Court order, which cancelled his anticipatory bail.
