Have you noticed that Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar have been giving the gunshot pose during the promotions of Saand Ki Aankh? We guess it’s not just in the body language but also in their spirit too. Confused? Well, we’re referring to the never-ending battle between Ranaut sisters- Kangana-Rangoli and Taapsee Pannu. Both the parties are always ready with their claws out to hit back at one another.

When we recently met Taapsee and Bhumi for a chat on their upcoming film, Saand Ki Aankh, and touched upon the topic of Rangoli’s series of tweets on their roles, where the actresses play double the age, Taapsee took not even a second to give a sarcastic sharpshooting reply, pun intended. 


While we were still completing out question, where we reminded her of Rangoli’s A Ka acting bhi nahi aata tweet, Taapsee said, “Haan nahi aata. Phir bhi picturein mil rahi hain, kya karun? We should question the directors, why are they coming to me? I am sorry but I have signed some 4 films, so you will have to bear with me.” Watch the video above.


Not just this, Bhumi also added to Taapsee’ sharp reply and said, “True, audiences are also silly na?”

Well, the ladies were definitely on fire. For those who have come in late, when the Saand Ki Aankh trailer released, a controversy too embroiled where a fan had tweeted, “I love @bhumipednekar and @taapsee but I kinda wish older actors were cast in these roles. Could you imagine @Neenagupta001 and @AzmiShabana or Jaya Bachchan? #SaandKiAankh” Replying to the tweet Neena Gupta had said, “Yes I was just thinking about this hamari umar ke role toe kamsekam humse kara lo bhai”

Rangoli had jumped into the conversation and replying to Neena Gupta’s tweet, had attacked Taapsee yet again.

When Taapsee penned an elaborate reply to those questioning young girls play older women,  Rangoli had tweeted, “Acting ka A bhi nahin aata & comparing urself to all legends. Bhai ja thodi acting seekh le tacky silver hair & sasta prosthetic won’t make u an actor,wat about body language f a 60 year old? Where is the aged voice?Longing fr gone youth in one’s eyes?Where is acting, So funny!(sic)”
