Taapsee Pannu Wins BIG for Badla, Pens A Heartwarming Message Thanking Big B, SRK And The Team
Zee Cine Awards 2020 was aired last night and Taapsee Pannu bagged the Best Actress award for the film Badla. The actress went on a thanking spree as she credited Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Sujoy Ghosh and Sunir Khetarpal for her big win
Portrayal of Naina Sethi on the silver screen by actress Taapsee Pannu in thriller Badla, was a milestone in her career. It proved of the actress having the ability to carry the movie on her shoulders. Few days back, she bagged the best actress award for Badla at Zee Cine Awards, and as the award ceremony was aired on National TV last night, the actress penned a long post thanking the entire team and with special mention of director, producer, co-star and award show organizers for this big win.
In her long post, she first began by complementing the producer Sunir Khetarpal who without being afraid chose a female protagonist over a male protagonist. Followed by it, she thanked Shah Rukh Khan under whose production banner, Red Chillies Entertainment, Badla was produced. She thanked SRK for making sure an unconventional film too gets a proper release at the box-office. Then, moving on to her co-star the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, she credited him for bringing out the best in her.
And finally, the director Sujoy Ghosh who can simply make his female stars shine on the silver screen.
In her caption she mentioned this being the very first ward for her movie Badla. She wrote, “The first one for #Badla…”
