Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Makers REACT To Neha Mehta Aka Anjali Bhabhi’s Accusation Of Non Payment Of Dues, Read Statement
‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is one of the longest-running shows on SAB TV and is entertaining the audience over the last many years. The characters have been loved by the audience, in fact, the actors are known by their character names now. Recently many actors have left the show including Bhavya Gandhi playing Tapu, Nidhi Bhanushali essaying Sonu, Neha Mehta playing Anjali Bhabhi, Disha Vakani playing Dayaben, and Shailesh Lodha playing titular character Taarak Mehta. A few days ago, Neha Mehta claimed that her dues are yet to be cleared by the makers of the show.

Now, the makers have finally broken their silence by issuing a statement. The statement read, “We consider our artist as our family. We have contacted Neha Mehta a multiple times to complete the formalities with us. Unfortunately, she has been reluctant to sign the exit documents without which we cannot do a full and final settlement as per company policy. She also stopped responding to all our communication since the past two years and she left the show without meeting us.”

They added, “We wish that she would have replied to our emails instead of making false accusations about the makers, who have given her 12 years of fame and career. We reserve our rights for appropriate action.”

Mehta is yet to revert on this.

Meanwhile, the comedy show recently faced a backlash from the fans for not confirming the return of Dayaben on the show. Since the exit of Disha Vakani, makers are finding a proper replacement for the character Dayaben, as it is one of the loved characters and Disha Vakani had played it with great finesse.
