Starring Randeep Hooda in title role, the film is about Sarabjit Singh, an Indian who was accused of espionage by Pakistan after he mistakenly trespassed. Sarabjit died in Pakistan, after spending than 2 decades in prison.
The film also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Richa Chadda in lead roles. Randeep had to lose a lot of weight to get into the shoes of Sarabjit. However, it's Ash's raw and desi look as Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur that has been getting a lot of appreciation from the fans.
